You might be thinking this doesn't seem "fair" or, "what about terrible people and people who persecute us?"
As with any gift, there are always those persons who may refuse to receive God's gift. Some people knowingly refuse it, and other people are not even aware of the question. God is the gift giver, therefore, God will manage the question of reception with each person individually. The only role the Church has is to inform people everywhere of God's free gift of Salvation.
Regarding those who persecute us, especially from the Church, Jesus said: "Blessed are you when they revile and persecute you, and say all kinds of evil against you falsely for My sake. Rejoice and be exceedingly glad, for great is your reward in heaven, for so they persecuted the prophets who were before you." (Matthew 5:11, 12 NKJV) So, in fact, all of the persecution that has come from the churches has guaranteed the Salvation of every LGBTQSIAN2ss++ person. God says so!
